Capitalism vs. Socialism
Debate Watch & Discussion.

Gene Epstein will be present at The SHELL in Rollinsford, New Hampshire to watch his recent capitalism vs. socialism debate against Professor Ben Burgis. Afterwards, the event will be an open discussion in which Gene will hear and respond to thoughts, questions, critiques, and analysis.

About the Debate:

Resolution: Socialism is preferable to capitalism as an economic system that promotes freedom, equality, and prosperity.

For the affirmative: Ben Burgis, a philosophy instructor at Georgia State University's Perimeter College and a contributor to Jacobin magazine.

For the Negative: Gene Epstein, director of the Soho Forum, former economics editor of Barron's Magazine and former senior economist for the New York Stock Exchange.
