Resolution:
Until there is convincing evidence that government-imposed gun control brings a net reduction in harm, all legal restrictions on adult possession of guns should be abolished.

For the affirmative:

Aaron Brown is a statistician, Bloomberg opinion columnist, and author of Wrong Number: How To Extract Truth From a Blizzard of Quantitative Disinformation. He is the former head of financial market research at AQR Capital Management and has taught statistics at New York University and the University of California, San Diego.

For the negative:

Robert Spitzer is a distinguished service professor emeritus of political science at the State University of New York at Cortland and an adjunct professor at William & Mary Law School. He is the author of 16 books, including 6 on gun policy, most recently The Gun Dilemma and the 10th edition of The Politics of Gun Control.
